Now that Icedove is working on Haiku, I wonder how hard would it be to get Betterbird (https://www.betterbird.eu/) working too. Betterbird is “presumed” to be a “better” Thunderbird.
Just asking, as there are all the Firefox clones, might be nice to have the Thunderbird clone that is “better”.

Seems like a good idea 
I personally haven’t tested Betterbird yet,but from their website it looks like they have fixed a good number of longstanding Thunderbird bugs,plus some other improvements.

I’m using it on Arch, and is pretty good. I found it just by chance and quite happy with it now.

We already have FOUR FireFox browsers. from a marketing perspective, I would suggesti doubling down on one of them. Porting even more only confuses newbies.
This thread is about Thunderbird (email client) forks. Of which there are probably just as many, but still
