Have you looked at BaCon which is currently at 4.7. It builds fairly straight forward. It also has gui’s for fltk, tk, and gtk.

I have heard of BaCon, but FreeBASIC can run my QBASIC programs.

Maybe I could do a check there to see how it behaves with tk/fltk
