Wrote a small program which sets animated backgrounds.
You just need a folder with frames (1.png, 2.png, 3.png etcetera), so it’s similar to moe. Launches in command line aswell so you can add it to your boot file. It also isn’t that taxing to you performance. Not going to get this on the 'depot since it’s a little amateur (I’m not that experienced with Haiku’s API). I also couldn’t have made this without GitHub - augiedoggie/bgswitch: A command line tool for changing the desktop background on Haiku 'cause I really couldn’t grasp how to work with tracker properly. It really eased the pain of working on this. Here’s the link (haven’t used that github account in forever):
