Hi,
I think a tablature editor for guitar can be a good idee to port on Haiku.
There is as opensource Tuxguitar but I don’t know if this can be ported is based on JavaVM I think.
What do you mean of it?

Looks like there is a Qt5 backend. But the project seems complex with many subprojects.

Actually, I have been working on a native tablature editor for a while. It is still in pre-alpha state, but progressing.

Wich format can it read? And do you distribute it for now?
Currently it only reads and writes only it’s own very simple file format I wrote for testing purposes. I’m in progress to write a translator to read and write midi files and later GuitarPro etc.
It is not available anywhere for now, when I have few more features ready and some bugs fixed I’ll release first test version for public.

I have find Musescore in Haiku Depot that has been ported on Haiku. It seem to work with Guitar Pro Files.
