I’ve got nightly gcc4 hybrid on the my old laptop and the wired portion works fine. The problem with the wireless is that the laptop won’t physically enable. I’ve gone into the BIOS and made sure it’s enabled, but I get a feeling that HP made some kind of software add-on to XP to make it function properly. Any ideas would be cool.
I did find a note from a guy in a Fedora forum that says he found old drivers and recompiled them to enable the switch, but I was unable to find them (not that I’m too sure I could do a compiling!).
