Windows 10 become less stable than Haiku beta

…yes that what I heard too through a sightseeing through LiMux Building in TU Munich… Garching/Munich!
Will be changed to Microsoft Server atm…

Anyway nothing to do with Haiku atm, since Haiku is a Desktop system only!

Working in the system area for about 15 years, learn me to never trust anything coming from Accenture…

I think it could possibly become more mainstream especially if someone can port steam support for the Haiku platform. Gaming is a make or break for some folks and probably a good opportunity to bring more folks into the community.

For running modern games, hardware rendering acceleration is required, that is missing on Haiku. For now Haiku has only OpenGL LLVM software rendering provided by Mesa library.

That actually sounds like a great idea as well. I’d love to mess with Haiku on a Rasp board.

The Steam Client is proprietary, so you’d have to convince Valve to do the porting.
