V-pie initiative to make a dev tools for RiscV

I’m writing this here because I’ve been associated with Haiku as a user for a while. My idea is to make a developer toolkit for the RiscV processor. Something like Keil for ARM. Haiku already supports this processor. The kit would not be strictly related to Haiku, it would require QT to work. Of course, open source … What do you think?

Sounds cool to me. I’ve never heard of Keil, but a quick search shows it’s a toolkit for writing code for ARM. Is that code to run on ARM as bare-metal like firmware, or develop for Linux on ARM? I’m sure everyone here would agree a RISC-V anything featuring Haiku would be great :+1:
