Using a "hosts" file to ad-block

open a terminal and type:

wget -c https://github.com/StevenBlack/hosts/raw/master/hosts

This will download the hosts file. Web Positive seems to have an issue downloading this file.

Sounds much easier, thanks.
But not easy to understand, anyway I tried it.

Is it possible to download it direct to:
System/settings/network/
?
