Well it would help if you included the command line you’re using to build, and/or the resulting output. One thing I can guess is that you need -ldevice on the command line to use BSerialPort.
Success! Your suggestion that I use “-ldevice” was the clue I needed.
I am not using the CLI, rather I am using Paladin, and selecting the “device.so” to be added to my compile includes was the what was needed to make the compile work.
So thanks for the clue. I am answering so late because I was so excited this morning in getting working code that I had to go into Toronto for parts. Now to start making hardware.
PS. I have wide range of personal machines, by making they all work thru the USB I can use the same hardware on my Toshiba, Dell, System 76, HP, and I7 computers without changes.
