Sorry to resurrect this thread, but I do have a relevant question. Did the hybrid 32bit EFI bootloader for 64bit Haiku ever make it in to a release build? I want to try to get a MacPro 1,1 booting Haiku 64bit, but it has 32bit EFI. It boots 32bit absolutely fine, so i think that 64bit should also work - if I can get it to boot. I get the boot menu with a 1 and 2 option that are blank if I boot the 64bit Beta 4 image with DVD.
What do I need to do to build the EFI Hybrid from 32bit Haiku? So I need to build the entire OS, or can I just build a specific part? Does it need kernel changes, of is it just the EFI bootloader that is needed? Does anyone have a prebuilt one I can try?
