How do you use the tv application in the basic haiku distribution? How to add channels? How to set up interface? Any help is appreciated. Thanks.
Unfortunately I don’t have a TV card any more, so I can’t test Haiku’s TV app. Maybe the channel thing still works like in BeOS. Have a look at this tip: http://betips.net/1997/09/09/tv-customize-your-stations/
Thanks for your response and information. I guess I didn’t realize that to use the tv application a tv card is required. I thought perhaps it was a web application to receive streaming tv media over the internet. I guess not. I do not have a tv card so I guess I cannot use the application. Thanks again for your interest and response.
VLC can watch streams from the web… which is what it seems you were looking for
