I was wondering if there is a way to input traditional Chinese characters in Haiku? I know there already exists a method for Japanese. At the same time I doubt about the existence of a programme for Chinese (traditional) input?
I am a Linux (Fedora) user and currently use IBus 1.4.0 for writing Chinese (traditional) using Bopomofo.
I am not a programmer or an expert on computers, therefore I would appreciate if you could keep your answers as simple as possible but no simpler.
Thank you all for reading and caring to respond!
我謝謝你們!(^_^)
I once used Fireinput in firefox, or its variants when they supported it. (http://www.fireinput.com/contribute.html). And you can also know about the status by visiting:
Until there is an input method for Chinese in Haiku, user may be interested to know that there is a website which supports Chinese input direct without the need for installation into the OS. Currently there are four common input methods that are offered: Cantonese, cangjie, “quick” and pinyin.

We have Chinese IME for Haiku in the HaikuPorts repository. On a recent nightly, pkgman install becjk should do the trick. Either ctrl+space or alt+space switches IME, I believe. If you need help getting it to work, please do reply
