A large part of the media server was recently rewritten. The media player has some brilliant features that make it a great engine for law latency playback and processing of audio, video, and even large images. The potential for the applications that can be written boggle
my mind. My hope is that someone with some decent coding skills picks up the challenge to
write some apps using it.
