Three requests for help

hello friends, I have three problems I would like help with. first duct in my old acer aspire one (yes, I’m trying to revive the poor guy) is not reproducing audio in any way from what I saw the controller is a Azalia (Intel HDA)
The second problem is how to disable the internal keyboard of the notebook via command? and last but not least, what’s the most important to me is how to make my graphical desk recognize the touch? I can even get the canets to move the mouse pointer but the click does not work running a command suggested by a brave guy here forum gave this exit: waltop international media tablet corp. "media tablet 16.6 ver, 0107. if you really appreciate it if you can get it to work on my good old haikai.

A placa de som Azalia dev funcionar… porem seria bom se você pudesse baixar aqui or copiar o seu log de demsg /var/log/dmsg. Para que podemos ver mais facil o que esta dando o problema.

Nao sei como desabilitar o teclado pelo linha de comando, por que esta querendo fazer assim mesmo?

Haiku realmente não tem suporte para tableta ou caneta assim so faz emulação de mouse.

BTW Caneta = pen (even for tablets)

Thanks for the quick response. I need to disable the internal declare of the notebook because it is defective and disrupts the use of the equipment. I use a conventional usb keyboard. As for the file that requested me dmsg simply does not exist on my machine. and at last there was no way to “trick” the machine and make the click of the pen recognize as it might move the pointer? Finally, are you Brazilian?

Brasileiro não, mas morei em MG uns 5 anos, antes da faculdade… Meus pais são missionários batistas la em MG at hoje.

Se o teclado (keyboard) ha defeito talvez pode desconeta-lo phisicamente nomalmente nao e muito difficil por que teclado de laptop e connectado solomented pelo um cabo tipo fita… talvez o defeito e por que esta solto um poco ai dentro?

Falei errado sobre dmesg… e /var/log/syslog mas ele faz a mesma coisa quanto a /var/log/dmesg no Linux.

If the keyboard is defective maybe you can disconnect it phsyically… usually that isn’t too hard as it is just a ribbon connector, Actually perhaps it is just loose in side causing the problem?

The keyboard is probably attached via PS/2, so blacklisting the PS/2 keyboard driver should suffice there.

For the keyboard, there is an iroster command that lets you enable or disable each device separately, with iroster -"Foo" or with + to enable. But it does not persist across reboots.
