Bravo! Well done and well thought out. Exactly the kind of ideas we need.

Thank You!

It would be nice if you could integrate into the right -click menu of the Mail Deskbar icon/replicant itself an option for “Open with EmailViewer” so you might not need to have (or could hide) a seperate icon in the Deskbar. (maybe via a BMessage?)

Hi shaka444,

Thank you for the nice words.

I will do my best!

Quick update:

Added backup feature. Saves all emails in a query to ZIP file.

Made refinements for creating custom queries from within the app. User filters out emails by attributes (Subject, To, From, and Account for now) using the search box, clicks on ‘+’ add query icon and names the query: the query will be added to the left pane, and will update itself live as new emails are received.

Added custom queries can be deleted from inside the app or in Tracker. Of course, you can also create your custom email queries in Tracker, and they will be reflected automagically inside the app.

Added attachment handling. Emails with attachments show attachment chips in the preview pane. Attachments can be opened by double-clicking or from contextual menu, and saved from contextual menu or using drag-and-drop.

That’s all for now!

I may be wrong, but I am not sure this can be done. Can you expand on how this could be possible?

Hi nephele,

I re-read Humdinger’s reply and I think I now understand. Will try this later and weigh the pros and cons.

Can I Beta test it?
