With Haiku running natively on hardware, it is becoming relevant to know which hardware is supported, and how well.
Could the testbuilds include some script that gathers the relevant system information (build, RAM, CPU, chipset, graphics), and report this to an online database?

pieterpanman was working on a Device Manager Application http://dev.haiku-os.org/ticket/3185 which was supposed to be able to generate hardware reports (see Design.txt attachment to that ticket).
As for hw compatibility databases, http://www.haikuware.com/hardware-database/ is one.
