[SOLVED - without action taken] An iprowifi4965 reconnecting issue

Ahoy Haikunauts,

Just as upgraded Haiku x86_64 – from hrev58469 to hrev58475 –

I experienced that my wlan adapter started to reconnects really frequently.

I have a daily check command line where I filtering the lines with ‘error’ in syslog and syslog.old

When I first restarted after the upgrade my mobile router was attached via USB, and then I had no network at all … the network status applet was showed white lamp, nor yellow neither red.
Generally the mobile router this way works as an RNDIS network device - quite well. Builds up slowly a bit, but reliably - once or twice - earlier - I plugged out ethernet cable and switched off all radios with a button - and worked,: I could use the net further.
Now I was surprised, so finally unplugged the mobile router, and restarted Haiku.

Then both my ethernet and wlan connection became green and up, but the Intel wifi started to reconnecting frequently - just as many monthes before with still Beta4 when it was a valid issue.
This is what I could see in filtered syslog - from terminal - this is the second part of my terminal output.

…and after , the 3rdpart of my daily chech routine, is a check of my installed Haiku BFS health – output of ‘checkfs -c /boot’ command.

Finally, in 4th part, I looked at the last 300 lines of the syslog file to show what happens with the wlan adapter and my WiFi connection.
This is what I provided HERE below, others had to remove to fit into the post limit.

Do you have same experiences - after the upgrade, as in the title - with the same wlan adapter ?

Ok. so seems noone else experienced similar issue until now …
then this post fullfilled its purpose.

Today it had stopped for me too, so maybe the repeater or the router of the rbuilding or even the mobile router caused this issue, and the experienced issue was only coincidence.

It was good to ask about it - this way I spared an unnecessary ticket.

I have seen this same problem with about every machine i have here that has an iprowifi4965, they periodically just disconnect and reconnect for no apparent reason, regardless of what access point they connect to. I have seen this same behavior for years so its not a recent thing.

Yepp, it was for a very long period when was turned Beta3 to Beta4, but then many upgrade happened and in case Beta4 I had no issues with iprowifi4965 in my Dell Precision M6700, nor Nightly neither Beta4/Beta5. I was quite happy how reliably worked for me.

Actually I have no such issue - it had stopped after two days.
I admit I do not use again the ZTE mobile router in my flat. It is switched off now. I suspect maybe it had caused the error I experienced this time.
