That’s cool! I should mention given the single user, desktop focused design of Haiku, I wouldn’t recommend running medium or large public facing server applications on Haiku today however.
Someday maybe, but not today
As a side note, Linux, Windows, etc sandbox these kinds of things behind non-root / non-administrative users historically (preserving the host in the event of an exploit)
We should think about growing our ability to sandbox applications and services (without relying on the non-administrative user stuff which is kind of a hack to be honest). It would be a nice first “step” towards having a system to offer public facing services from Haiku more securely.
