I’m new to haiku testing, so I have no knowledge of the system.
On the other hand, Dooble is well translated into French with the system parameter.

part of the problem comes from not translating .ts files into hu_HU
I did the test under linux with

Additional information:

pkgman install qt5_tools
linguist /system/apps/Dooble/Translations/dooble_hu.ts

For the moment, there are no translated into Hungarian.

Same for RO btw.

I see that French translations have been renamed to fr_FR in French Translation - version 2023-11-28 by meteos77 · Pull Request #204 · textbrowser/dooble · GitHub so the problem is likely upstream.

Please contribute translations at GitHub - textbrowser/dooble: Dooble is a scientific browser. Minimal, cute, unusually stable, and available almost everywhere. Completed. They will be accepted, merged there.

Thanks for your witty post - it made me giggling.

I can quickly release myself from my digital daemons … simply skipping the not important features – those which can invoke them.
