So, just recently installed Haiku on my USB stick.
BTW, I’m really pleased with it - I think Windows and Linux may be in jeopardy on my HDD :D.
I’ve read that Wireless works with WEP.
My driver (which works in Linux BTW) is a RTL8139. But, I cannot for the life of me get it to work.
The Network dialog gives me no clue.
Here’s what happens…
I press the Network Icon;
Open Network Prefrences;
Choose “DHCP” mode;
Then it says on the taskbar “/dev/net/rtl8139/0: Configuring”;
After a while it goes back to saying “/dev/net/rtl8139/0: No link”;
I don’t know if it’s because I’m fucking stupid but I just cannot get the wireless to work.
I know I’m doing something wrong, can someone put me in the right direction…
