Qemu on Mac OS X

Does anyone have experience loading Haiku, in qemu on Mac OS X ?

Ive tried a variety of options in qemu, and various safe mode options in the haiku boot loader, with various video modes, but at best Haiku seems to hanging at the boot screen.

I’ve been using raw image files from : http://www.schmidp.com/files/2.html on Mac OS 10.3.9.

I havent had much success with VPC either on Tiger …

How does one download a hard drive image, from the build factory (to try in qemu) ? All I can find are links to various packages…

The HD Image section has a wonderfull output of its log, though.

yep satchmoz … those images to download will be coming very soon. I’m hoping to find the time this weekend to include them.

the build script uploads the floppy img (currently invisible to ppl) and next will be the HD ones.

I’ve managed to install and run BeOS MAX 3 on a G3/300 running “Q”. BeOS reports PII, 20 Mhz and is extreeeeeemly slooooow. At present i don’t have access to G5 machines.

But I’d love to use BeOS natively on this machine.

I take it you’re aware of the Mac/PowerPC Haiku port? I imagine Haiku won’t run too badly on an old G3, so that’s something to look forward to in the near future.

Huh? What? How? Help!

Are there drivers, though?

I don’t think it’s in a bootable state yet, but it definitely is happening and I’m guessing the goal is that it will be ready for R1.

Wow, does it run under Mac-on-Mac or Qemu PPC ?. Waiting eagerly for Mac/PPC R1.
