So every time I leave my razor headset plugged in, and I try to boot my machine. I get a kernel panic error and i’m also currently using the nightly build of Haiku sorry, no screenshots. I’m kind of at work right now. When I made this post it is also a usb c headset and I use a u s b to u s b c adapter, but I don’t think that has anything to do with it, but i’m just throwing that out there i understand there’s a lot of USB related stuff that is not complete. Yet in Haiku but simply plugging my headset into the u s b port and booting, my system should not completely crash. It
No screenshots means we can’t know why the system crashed. the “white screen” KDL is us deliberately stopping the system as we can’t continue operating the OS safely (with it’s gurantees of memory safety, not corrupting your files etc)
If you do make a screenshot (with a camera for example) please upload it with a new ticket to the bugtracker so we can investigate
