Hi poeple i have problem. i buy old graphics card special for Haiku and Linux… but in Haiku with this card do only 1152x864.
The Card: ASUS Nvidia 6200 64MB PCIEXPRESS
The LCD: FLATRON W1934S
please help. is this card not fully suported? i need to normal work 1440x900. i no need 3d only wide screen non vesa mode i need… thanks from slovakia.
1152x864 seems too low a video mode for that card. I think it should have higher resolution like 1280x1024 or 1600x1200. Is 1152x864 the maximum resolution? If yes, then that makes it seem like something is wrong.
Hi lukves!
Have you tried what tonestone suggested?
The “Not implemented” in the Devices panel only means that Devices cannot yet display information on the used driver. You card should be using the nvidia driver. vendor and device id are known to the driver. To make sure, enter listimage | grep accel in Terminal. If it shows something with “nvidia.accelerant” everything’s OK.
Then your LCD might not announce its capabilities correctly. AFAIK tonestone’s advice should sort this out. If it doesn’t consider openeing a ticket at the bugtracker with all the info.
i have ASUS M4A785D-M PRO motherboard with integr. Radeon HD4200 (only vesa graf)
ASUS 6200 64mb graphics low profile… yes is old but now ia can use 1440x900 resolution… great
