Yes, you’re right. I suppose I’m just distracting from the very necessary task of getting the browser working.

It has been fun tacking the string “.json” on the end of most links in this website and looking at all the metadata that the JavaScript parses into the resultant visible page though.

I do have a question about the Haiku GUI though: Is it possible to make a word-wrappable text button in any text gadget to make a hypertext capability of an arbitrary string? I know that Amiga’s Magic User Interface (MUI) can do it. wxWidgets can only do it if it’s part of an HTML document. If I was going to make a ReST interface based app to render hypertext independently of WebKit it would be a stopper not being able to do that.

It’s just the online version shipped with a copy of the Blink engine for making it look like a native desktop app.
