No USB Mouse

Hi all-
I was running Haiku in a Virtualbox VM and had no trouble. Intrigued by the speed, I wanted to boot it directly and start poking around. The installer starts, but I can’t move my USB mouse.

I’ve checked USB mouse options in the BIOS, and they’re all enabled. Could there be something else?
Thanks

I decided to try a wireless USB laptop mouse, which worked. The alternate mouse is also made by Microsoft. Strange.

It is installed, and got it working with Grub 2. I’m now able to boot into Windows 7, Ubuntu 10.04, and Haiku! Fantastic!

I had problems with non-Microsoft mice before but never a Microsoft one. What model is it for future reference?

PS. You need to add Mac to the mix then you have the GEEK machine.

I’m pretty sure it is a Microsoft Comfort Mouse 4500. I’m wondering if there should be a ticket for this.
