No keyboard or mouse in setup

I have the following problem:
Ik create a bootable disk with the iso file on it (r1alpha2). It boots perfect then i come in the window where you have a coice of install or live cd. But there i dont have a mouse or keyboard at all. I see the three lights of mine keyboard flickering but i dont get any response at all. The same with my mouse.
I have a ps2 keyboard and mouse. I tried a USB mouse but there also no response. I have a ASUS A8N-E motherboard with a AMD athlon processor.

Thanks in advance.

try the latest nightly release at haiku-files.org to see if that issue has been cleared up

try nightly image

Also, check your BIOS for different USB settings. You should have USB legacy enabled. Try disabling PlugNPlay OS in BIOS. Try different usb ports on your computer.

usb should work but if not then you’ll have to file a bug for it.

Thank you for your answers. I had tried different ports on USB and diffend bios settings

I downloaded the last nightly build (r41142). But unforntuly this is not much better even worse.
I get now the error:
PANIC did not find any boot partition

I googled around but couldnt find any working solution, any idea i have to look for to fix the problem?

Edit.
I tried again the ‘plug and play o/s’ setting to ‘no’ and now i can use my mouse

THank you

Great! Keyboard too or just mouse? Let us know if your usb or ps2 keyboard works also.
