Subsequently, thank you for the, partly detailed, answers!
I would like to be able to understand the following ‘points’ better directly here. A link with click-back would also be very helpful (at least for me):
Atom: Initializing modules.
Disk + magnifier: Creating rootfs (/) and mounting devfs (/dev).
Plug-in card: Initializing device manager.
Boot disk: Mounting boot disk.
Chip: Loading CPU specific modules.
Folder: Final initialization of subsystems.
Rocket: Launch_daemon has started the system.
My MSI gaming laptop (described above) boots very fast until Rocket (included) . After that the boot process stops. What does this mean, what can I do?
I had asked this question (similarly) elsewhere before, but unfortunately did not get a clear answer or statement to it.
All possible boot loader options (especially in all possible combinations) I want to use only when I know that there is no clear answer to the point End of the boot process after the rocket lights up!
This means app_server failed to start/take over. please file a ticket so it can be fixed https://dev.haiku-os.org
One option that could workaround this is use failsafe graphics.
I’ve tried that with the ticket in the past without success.
Unfortunately, I don’t speak English and both the Google and Microsoft translators always translate in a misleading way - but 100% = YES becomes NO and vice versa! Or what is friendly becomes what is insulting!
Even the DeepL translator is not exempt from this, although mostly better!
For some languages you can ask in the international section of the forum and still get qualified answers. I would answer in german posts for example, other devs may for french posts etc.
