my name is sycamoreent.
I would like to work on a project, that is, a cloud os for the iphone and ipod touch.
The os would be mac-like, but slightly different. The way it would work (to save the developers money,)
is instead of having a cloud hard drive, users would save items to list. Example:
You have a song that you would like in this cloud os.
You go to the music app, search, and play.
What happened? The os searched a radio website, such as last fm, and let you play the results on the iphone.
You have an image you want.
You go to the photo app, tap add photo, and enter the url.
The os doesn’t save the picture, it adds the url to a list.
This means that each user is worth kilobytes, not megabytes or gigabytes.
It could do the same thing for document, such as google docks.
I understand from my limited and sucky knowledge of programming that this will be a difficult task to accomplish. That is why I am asking for help. Please take this idea seriously. Also, if you don’t know what you are doing, don’t offer to help.
I have included a concept of what if could be like.
