Hi,
Got to start by saying I’m totally blown away with the progress the Haiku team has made. I’m installing daily (ish) builds now and I am just soooooo impressed and one very happy returnee to the BeOS camp :o)
I’m having a problem with the exuxki (Audigy) setup though, I can’t seem to select Audio Input, Output of Channel, so have no connection to the media server.
I was under the impression that this was possible now, is this correct? Can anyone offer any help/advice here?
Keep up the excellent work guys!! :o)

It’s possibly that there isn’t a driver, instal one from bebits altough emuxki should already be in the build.
I have tried to copy a driver sis7058(?) but when the media service prefs restart I doesn’t find them, is it not ready yet?

There was some dependencies missing from the Haiku install that were required for the emuxki driver to work.
See http://www.haiku-os.org/bugzilla/show_bug.cgi?id=391 for more info… it is now working - and my SB Live produces sound in Haiku!

Hmmm…the Haiku-multi_audio add-on installs ok. On top of that I’m trying to load the Haiku-emuxki driver.
Nothing is available to select in the Audio Settings panel for default Audio Input or Output. I’m confused!
I thought the emuxki was a replacement driver for the Audigy line of soundcards.
I can get audio working if I install the Audigy_0.2 pkg from bebits. No problems…but that’s not what I want to test.
Since my first post (which was a separate Haiku partition), I have reverted to a single R5.0.3 install.
Should the multi audio add-on and the emuxki be R5 compatible? Tell me if I’m doing something wrong :?

Unfortunately, I haven’t tried the Haiku driver under R5 yet - my SBLive worked fine with BeOS Max 3.1 already - so I didn’t mess with it.
I may get a chance soon to test it out for myself - and I’ll let you know if I do.
