The above says it all. If I run the screensaver with the -l option, it brings up the lock dialog, but if I click “Unlock” without putting in a password, it unlocks. Bit useless really. Actually inputting any text still allows unlocking, how do I fix this, or is it a work in progress.
Command I used: /bin/screen_blanker -l
I am on daily build.
If you don’t have a password set then it will accept any password. If you’re using the “Use system password” option then you need to set a password for the main user using the passwd command from the Terminal or the Users app from the HaikuUtils package. After setting a system password you will need to reboot for the new password to take effect.

Regarding HaikuUtils, I installed, but cannot find anywhere ..
Strange, there should be a “HaikuUtils” folder in the Applications menu of the Deskbar after installing it. The actual binaries for the apps in this package are put into /bin instead of the normal apps folder for some reason. You could also start the application from Terminal by running the Users command.

Users works. Strange it is in upper case, unlike all the other packages in /bin
