after fiddling around and messing with replicant, i replicated one of the cpu on-off buttons in Pulse onto the desktop. To my dismay there was no wrench to get rid of it. Any manual way of disposing of unwanted replicants?

Just grab it in the lower right corner where a teeny-tiny icon shows and drag the sucker to the trash can and drop it.
Gone.
No harm to its ‘parent’, even if open elsewhere.

nvm, deleted tracker_shelf as said in the bug report and it’s fixed the problem. Thanks anyway
