Is there any hardware compatibility list anywhere?
By the way, can someone tell me if i can install Haiku on SATA drives? Chipsets supported?
Wouldnt be a good idea to make a webpage or similar to know what programs people can install before installing Haiku and how does they go?
Thanks in advance.
SATA controllers that support either IDE (legacy mode) or AHCI will work. All motherboard chipsets seem to work but Intel ones may have somewhat better support. You should be able to use AMD, Intel, Nvidia, VIA & SiS motherboards.
Haiku still alpha and not ready for general public. More for testers now. With R1 release, more information will become available.
