If you can get a hold of the original “Programming BeOS” book, that would be a lot of help. Of course, that book doesn’t cover some of the newer stuff added by the Haiku project, like the Layout Library for UI, but it gives you a good overview. There is a used version for sale on Amazon…a little pricey though…
