For Haiku to gain any decent install base, you should be able to connect to the internet right out the gates. Right now a ton of people cannot.
If there aren’t hardware/driver issues, Haiku does connect to the intertubes with no problem.
I hope the ton of people consult the bugtracker and file new issues if their’s is not already listed. Otherwise the situation can’t be improved. So far they’ve been really quiet. So quiet, that I concluded that most people can get online just fine…
