There is a bug report for this already
My locale settings are set to translate folders and applications names. In fact, they translate in file system. But they don’t in the Deskbar, just like the aforementioned bug says.

My question here is: should we disable (again) the default locale settings to translate folders and applications name until the bug is fixed? This is because we have an inconsistent experience now, with these settings…
