GOBOLinux is a distribution that entirely rename the filesystem (folders like /var, /usr, /root etc.). All linux system is now putted on a unique directory called “/system”. This new hierarchy is a standard and take harmony with all *NIX OSes (no directories like “/linux”, etc.) Idea is to adapt this filesystem hierarchy for easily portages of future apps.
Why?
BeOS never has, and never will, use a Linux or *BSD FSH anyway. Why the hell should we jump on the bandwagon of some small distro that will probably never, ever have its FSH accepted by anyone else?
The way disks are mounted on BeOS is totally different anyway - not even using a /mnt style system.

Whether or not it’s worth using in Haiku is another matter - but it’s worth considering none the less.
No, its NOT a good idea, because if a system is going to be BeOS compatible, its got to have BeOS’s FSH
Mac like or not, a Linux FSH will not be suitable for BeOS. Ever.
A quick look at it seems to suggest that it uses a FreeBSD Ports like system of having each package with its own directory. Big woopee. Not suitable for BeOS. At all.
