I think it is possible to use AI to create more icons in Haiku style

What format is this created in?

It created it in webp, I converted to PNG.

I have had it create SVG in the past with mixed results.

SVG would be great. Even better if it could be created directly in HVIF.

SVG would require a text model.

I thought SVG used XML as its basis. How would a text model help?

XML is text. Image models like stable diffusion can’t do text, AFAIK.

It’s not a ā€œflat fileā€ but technically, XML is text. Also, structured graphics like Haiku’s icons don’t benefit from non-structured bimap formats at all. Is that what you’re saying?

What I’m saying is that bitmap/raster image generations models/methods are no use for vector, unless you want to use an external raster to vector tool.

Agreed. I thought so.

ChatGPT can create/generate simple SVG files with flat images:

Earth:
žemė

HaikuBox:
haikubox

damoklas:
damoklas

BeBox (3d icon):
bebox

Human:
žmogus

Computer user:
user

ChatGPT:
chatgpt

Claude is actually pretty good at this.

Prompt:

Write a SVG for these things:

  • Earth
  • HaikuBox (To Haiku what the BeOS was to the BeBox)
  • coolcoder613
  • BeBox (The computer from Be Inc)
  • Human (A human)
  • Computer User (A person using a computer)
  • LLM (Something not too abstract)
