(i just found out i have a problemen with the floppydisk so i cant use it for the moment)
Err, you can't install BeOS into a Linux filesystem (don't even bother mentioning PE, people). It needs a partition. Not a directory.
…
lighthouse, when you have the “Personal Edition” version of BeOS “for Linux”, you’ll have a compressed file that uncompress to 500MB, plus other files. This file must resides on a folder called /BeOS on any partition but, you will need a floppy to boot BeOS.
In fact… I might be mistaken. There is another way: you might have a file called “zbeos” that came toghether with. It contains the bootcode necessary to boot BeOS. You can add this file as a boot option to LILO, so it can be loaded into memory and start running. I can’t help you with details about configuring LILO but it’s almost the same way you do to add a Windows installation to it. This COULD help (I think it’s plain wrong, but it’s working 'cause it’s reading the boot code of the BeOS partition, not from the zbeos file):
Btw, it could be a lot easier for you if you dig www.bebits.com and search for a BeOS “distro” (well… it’s no distro really, but you will understand in the future) packed with other software and patches for newer machines. try looking over there first, you might found an ISO to install or even a live CD (hint: http://www.bebits.com/search?search=xbeox).

Simply extract BeOS4Linux.tar.gz to a directory named BeOS anywhere on the boot partition
