Help with a real BeBox

His main issue will be that the PowerPC architecture has no “Devices” control panel, and so it will be a lot of guessing. I don’t know it there’s command line tool, but that might help. This was never an issue on the Mac running BeOS as it was all PCI and things either worked or they didn’t… lol. The BeBox was too short lived for this to be much of an issue because most people knew what they were doing with them back then and most still run with the original hardware these days - as this is the alternative!!

I will say that I don’t believe the BeBox supported anything past 10mb, Base10T was the best card officially supported.

I´m using now a 3COM 905B Fast Etherlink XL card and it works

Thanks for reporting back, I’ll pick one of those up in case i ever get my hands on a working bebox. I’ve kept my eye out for the ISA cards that were supported but never found one in good working order.

You just need to download the driver for it:
