Haiku RC2: 64 bits only ?!

Maybe it’s not a suggestion because maybe you have already thought about it. But i haven’t find any reference to it.

I have read that RC2 will not be compatible with RC1.
It would be stupid to create a 32 bits version of RC2. isn’t it ?
You could directly focus on a 64 bits version.
64 bits is the (near) future ( or maybe 32 bits are already the past).
RC2 will not be release before several months/years.
Everybody will have a 64 bits processor and more than 2Go of RAM when it will be available.

I think it would be a mistake to -not- have a 32-bit version of Haiku R2. Enough people will have (only) 32-bit computers for at least a couple of years more.

Keeping Haiku working on 32-bit PCs does not harm or hold back its migration to 64-bit PCs.
