Ok so not exactly a deep article by any means, but always nice to see Haiku featured.
This is not surprising to me, Haiku is one of the most well organized and focused open source software projects around. Clear goals help it achieve this. The downside is less developers, but the quality of the work of the current group seems much higher in comparison.
