I’ve been running the nightly builds on Q (the OS X version of QEmu), but it runs painfully slow. Is this normal? Is there a way to speed things up?
Thanks.

Well Karl from haikuware.com wrote that Qemu is 3rd behind Vmware and VirtualBox, and He was using OSX (http://www.haiku-os.org/documents/user/haiku_under_emulation). So it really should be running a lot better.
I my self use VirtualBox on a mix of winxp and ubuntu, so I can’t help test the issue. Plus I haven’t used Qemu with haiku since It was still in non-GUI form(well non-GUI with out installing extra stuff from Beos).
So you may want to ask Karl here or at his site, if there are any setting that could speed things up for you. That is if no one helps in this topic.
