Haiku on Dell D820

Hi

I have a Dell Latitude D820 laptop. Haiku works fine on this machine but I can’t seem to be able to make the sound card work. Whad drivers should I use for this particular machine? I have a Intel Corporation 82801G (ICH7 Family) sound card.

Sounds like the built-in HDA driver that comes with Haiku should work, but you should probably open a ticket at http://dev.haiku-os.org and report your issue along with listdev output and syslog.

It does show HDA in Media Preferences but sound does not work. Weird. Thanks for the help.

I have the same problem on my Dell D830.
