Is there a .NET VM for Haiku? (A quick web search didn’t reveal any hit.)

Not as far as I’m aware. Mono is open-source if you want to attempt a port of that monster. See https://www.mono-project.com/ for more details.

Yeah, it’s a big monster. It’s probably beyond my abilities to port Mono myself.

You could port this and it would probably more or less work. This is an example of it running on a PSP. Compiles pretty easily with a modern C compiler.
If the compiler works, that would make DNA viable on Haku.
