Its great to see MAME is in Haikuports although I’ve yet to work out where its looking for the roms. I’ve tried ~/mame/roms and ~/.mame/roms but neither has worked and mame crashes when I exit it. I’ll report that bug properly on gh later. advancemame doesn’t want to run at all.
I’ve had no luck with the standard mame port but I have got a few roms running under retroarch’s mame2003_plus_libretro, My ps3 clone joypad seems to require some config before Ill be able to use it properly under retroarch.
I forgot the exact argument but you can add the roms path to the command line when you run MAME.
