I would be interested in being able to try the latest Haiku has to offer, as I thought the alpha 3 was really good, but it’s been months and alpha 3 is still the only thing I can find for download. Do I have to built it from source? or is there somewhere I can just download it by chance?
Nightly builds can be picked up from the following link (which is also listed in the development section of the haiku-os.org website)
In general it is suggested that you download the x86 GCC 2 Hybrid
version, because it is the most like R1A3. Best of luck.
You’ll find nightly images at http://www.haiku-files.org/. They are build every few hours. Be aware, however, that they are not always completely stable. I recommend watching the commit list to spot when there appear to be problems, which are usually fixed quite quickly, and get a slightly older image.
If you always get the absolute latest, you’re on the bleeding edge, but might get hurt…

Humdinger
Just to note – until Buildbot gets up and running properly, there won’t be any new nightly images. It is being worked on and additional assistance would be appreciated.
