A long time ago the Sub $100 laptop saga begun.
Just after some initial research by involved partners, Microsoft felt unsafe about the developments and forced windows on the $100 laptop proposal.
Microsoft fears that a new generation of younger people using linux would remove the only trumph card Windows really has : The user base.
Well, to make a long story short, Chinese companies managed to produce sub $100 dollars laptops.

VT8505 is an ARM9 clone.
While this system is resource constrained, i think Haiku would be the perfect fit.
In my country a sub $100 laptop is still usefull (Very usefull) to digitally include the most poor regions of the country.
A side effect would be to remove Windows (CE) from those machines.
Im posting this just as an incentive to the very nice people who are working on the ARM9 port of Haiku.
Thank you for all your good work.
