HI everybody,
Thanks to all the developers and contributors for this amazing OS. I really do appreciate the effort and time you are investing in this free project.
I have tested haiku before in vmware VMs,never in real iron.
I currently have Haiku hrev47380 running in vmware ESXi 6.0u3, but I haven’t been able to boot any of the last nightly build isos.
I would like to install one of the latest x86 32bits isos to be able to run old beOS apps, but everytime I get a kernel panic with hrev51575 anyboot iso and similar builds.
My ESXi box setup is a core i7 4790 and an asrock z97 extreme 4 motherboard, but I dont think this has nothing to do because all the hardware is virtualized through ESXi. I choose other OS,32bit os etc in the VM configuration, the same as in the hrev47380build,but I always get a kernel panic.I’ve seen a thread about kernel panics in last builds, so which iso should I use to install an updated Haiku 32bits in an VM in ESXi6?
Thanks for your help.
