Hello
I’d like to run Haiku off a USB stick for:
- data recovery, when Windows no longer boots
- banking operations, in case Windows has some hidden viruses. As for web-based viruses (XSS, etc.), I don’t know how secure it’d be to use the browser of an lesser-known OS like Haiku
Because of this, I need to know how well Haiku supports all the devices out there, whether it’s video, networking (Ethernet and wifi), and mass storage devices (internal SATA/PATA and USB-based).
I assume Linux supports many more devices, but is Haiku good enough for such use?
Thank you.
