The 32-bit system just inherently uses less memory due to the use of 32-bit pointers (among other things.) I don’t know if we could really get the 64-bit system optimized in the same way due to this.
And I don’t expect that any of these changes will be merged into the R1/beta5 branch. They’re too dangerous (indeed, some users have already reported some KDLs and other regressions from them.)
it seems haiku-32 can be a edge version to run with very old computer.
and, you should keep these power into the version.
haiku-64 should keep stable without these dangerous patchs.
(if one person run a 64bite computer, it should have enough memory or other parts.)
